I combine a strong academic background in science with five years of practical experience teaching secondary science in UK schools.

Enhanced DBS check, safeguarding training completed and Member of the Chartered College of Teaching.

A clear, personalised process

1. Initial discussion and goal setting

   We discuss the student’s current course, confidence, areas of difficulty and what they would like to achieve.

2. Identify strengths and areas for development

   Questioning, discussion and short tasks establish what the student understands and where support is most useful.

3. Personalised weekly tuition

   Lessons may include explanation, guided practice, calculations, examination questions and revision.

4. Regular review of progress

   We revisit priorities regularly and adjust tuition as the student’s needs develop.
